About a Fraction of a Second
A Fraction of a Second is the natural extension of my workshops and my pedagogical approach.
What it is:
A modern photography school project, focused on:
- Accessibility to courses (reasonable prices, varied formats, simple materials)
- Visual culture (understanding what we see, analyzing it, developing a critical eye)
- an inclusive learning community
- a pedagogy based on practice, enjoyment and simplicity
- Key objectives:
- democratize photography
- to offer quality training regardless of experience
- to train a new generation of creators who are more critical, more sensitive, and more informed
- to offer a warm, human and unpretentious alternative to traditional photography teaching
The REGARD Foundation
Alexandre wants to launch a foundation linked to Une Fraction de Seconde called REGARD. The goal is to support photographic culture in Quebec and make photography accessible to young people, communities, and emerging talents, while also giving back to the industry.
